]]> Sarah graduated in 2015 after making the most of her time at the School of Packaging through internships, co-ops, CoPPAC involvement, and the Packaging UK Study Abroad. Sarah worked at Kraft Heinz before shifting into automotive packaging at Adient in 2018. New to the board in 2020, Sarah is looking forward to giving back to the SoP through the organization that helped her along the way. ]]> Kaylee Garlick graduated from MSU with a BS in Packaging in 2016. During her time at MSU, Kaylee conducted packaging sustainability research under Dr. Auras and completed co-ops at L Brands and Kraft Heinz. In addition to being involved in Packaging at MSU, Kaylee cheered at MSU volleyball, basketball, football games, and UDA Nationals as part of Michigan State’s Dance Team. After graduation Kaylee moved to Chicago and worked at Kraft Heinz for 2 years supporting brands such as Lunchables and Philadelphia Cream Cheese. Today Kaylee leads packaging innovation at RXBAR and enjoys spending time with her dog Grizzly, trying out new restaurants in Chicago, traveling, and cheering on the Spartans. She joined the board in 2018 and looks forward to building impactful relationships with the SOP and its students!

]]> While at MSU, Ashley was a proud trumpet player in the Spartan Marching Band and graduated with a B.S. in Packaging in 2007. She began her career in New York at Estee Lauder, then moved on to various other roles within the beauty industry at Limited Brands (both Bath and Body Works and Victoria’s secret) in package development. Ashley moved to Chicago with her now husband to join Wrigley as a senior packaging engineer. Currently, Ashley is manager of innovation commercialization at Diageo in Plainfield, IL. In her spare time, Ashley loves watching and cheering on MSU sports, hanging out with family and friends and catching the next Marvel and DC movies. Ashley currently resides in Chicago, IL with her husband Bill. She joined the board in 2018 and is excited to be more involved and engaged with MSU and the School of Packaging!

Laura Smith is a 2006 graduate of Michigan State’s School of Packaging.  Since graduation, Laura has worked for Fort Dearborn and Pactiv in various roles across Sales and Marketing.  Laura is currently working for Printpack’s Rigid Division, as an Account Manager.  Laura had been involved with the Packaging Alumni Association as a non-board member on the scholarship and fundraising committees, prior to joining the board in the fall of 2017. Laura and her husband Kevin live in Milford, MI with their 4 year old son Shepherd, 2 year old daughter Haddie Mae and 7 month old son Merritt.
